Why has India failed to produce tech giants like Apple, Google, Facebook, Twitter etc.?

Indian tech geeks are known for their brilliance and expertise. India's most genius brains are working at almost all of tech giants in world. However, when it comes to an Indian tech company making it big, we have none to talk about. We definitely have some success stories like slideshare & zoho, however there is something which stops an Indian Tech Entrepreneur to make it big at a larger level.
