An OLED is a organic light emission diode.  In that the emissive electroluminescent layer is a film of organic compound which emits light in response to an electric current. organic semiconductor layer is present in between two electrodes.  in these two electrodes at least one will be transparent.  OLED are used for creating computer monitors television screens, mobile phones and pdas .  The speciality of an oled technology is that it can work without a back light system.ie it can display even deep black levels and can be thinner and lighter than a liquid crystal display ie  lcd.   in a low ambient light conditions such as a dark room in that the oled screen achieves a higher contrast ratio.  The worker in construction of bridges their white transparent  coloured  coats were also work in this principle
